As a part of our goal to enhance the education of our children, the PTA does many fundraisers and provides additional activities for our children.<\/div>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<div class=\"blue\" style=\"text-align: left;\">As the largest child advocacy association in the nation, PTA:<\/div>\n<div class=\"blue\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u2013 helps your child succeed<br \/>\n\u2013 connects you with the school community<br \/>\n\u2013 is America&#8217;s number one resource for parent involvement<br \/>\n\u2013 has a network that supports you<br \/>\n\u2013 provides opportunities for growth<br \/>\n\u2013 helps you set a good example<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"blue\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>OUR MISSION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Support and speak on behalf of<\/strong> children and youths in schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.<br \/>\n<strong>Assist parents <\/strong>in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.<br \/>\n<strong>Encourage parents and public involvement <\/strong>in the public schools of this nation.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"blue\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>OUR PURPOSE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Promote<\/strong> the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.<br \/>\n<strong>Raise<\/strong> the standards of home life.<br \/>\n<strong>Secure<\/strong> adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.<br \/>\n<strong>Bring<\/strong> into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.<br \/>\n<strong>Develop<\/strong> between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dutch Neck Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization made up of parent and teacher volunteers.
